The Terex Hi-Ranger™ TL48 articulated & telescopic aerial device is optimized for super-duty chassis such as the Ford F600, International CV and Chevy 6500 chassis. The 53 foot working-height unit has superior material-handling capacity balanced with strong payload to meet the needs of trouble truck applications for utilities.

With an industry-leading side reach of nearly 32 feet, the TL48 has 500 pounds of bucket capacity plus maximum material handling capacity of 1,000 pounds. The key feature is when the upper boom is at a horizontal position it still achieves 800 pounds of jib capacity with the inner boom retracted at 23 feet side reach and 26 feet working height. The material-handling capacity is 200 pounds fully extended at 32 feet of side reach, where similar units have no material handling capability. The product is offered with an end-mounted Cobra-style hydraulic, articulating jib as well as side mount bucket and jib configurations.
